Gracie Jiu Jitsu is one of the most effective, reality-based fighting systems in the world.
Created by the Gracie Family, the basic premise of Jiu-Jitsu is that 90% of fights end up on the ground. As such, Jiu-Jitsu is focused primarily on effective ground fighting. The goal is to put an opponent into situations on the ground where joint locks and/or chokes can be applied to force him/her to submit.

KIDS SESSIONS
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu doesn’t just make kids work hard physically, but also requires them to use their brains.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu can be viewed as a game of chess, and children who train understand how to keep calm under pressure and solve the problems they face in logical ways. This can give them better decision making abilities in everyday life.
At Roger Gracie -Watford we keep it real. At the same time we follow the national standards of the Safe Code in Martial Arts, having all our staff under annual DBS checks, Health Checks, First Aid trained and more, we will focus on making everyone of our students to perform confidently the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Avoiding having them playing around and talking, or just showing up in order to get promoted.
No gi Jiu Jitsu is a newer variation of Jiu Jitsu that is typically practiced without the traditional gi uniform. It is often referred to as “submission wrestling” because it focuses on using techniques to control and submit opponents without the use of a gi.
